About Me

Abbey Thornton (he/she/they) is a mixed media artist; a painter, a sculptor, a published poet, a model. He is also a documentary filmmaker, and photographer in his free time. He lives currently in Bar Harbor, where the wilds of Maine rouse the themes of his pieces. Abbey mostly takes inspiration from natural forms and beings that live around him, though he also directly mirrors his creations from deeply emotional states of mind he meditates on during the construction process. His incredibly bona fide means of storytelling aim to share an experience, a memory even, alongside personal reflections projected just through the sharing of his creations with his audience.
